My life has always been packed with sports and outdoor fun. I started playing soccer when I was little, but after a few years, I switched to baseball. Being left-handed gave me an edge, so I focused on pitching. Sports have always been my thing, but I couldn’t have done any of it without God. He’s been there for me through everything.
Over the years, I’ve also played football, basketball, soccer, golf, swimming, and mountain biking. All these sports have shaped who I am and have helped me grow and improve every day. Golf, especially, has helped me with my composure and mindset while pitching. It’s a tough game, but it taught me to keep pushing even when things aren’t going well.
Playing baseball has come with its challenges. Competing with teammates and outworking others on and off the field has been tough, but it’s made me stronger. I am a better player for the hard work and effort. I am a strong team player, and I understand that team chemistry comes with good friendships and trusting your teammates. Baseball has given me the chance to make my best friends, and I will continue to work very hard so I can still play this sport through college and beyond, God willing.
I live in Austin, TX with my Mom and younger brother, Noah. My Mom, Dad, Grandmom and Granddad are my largest supporters on and off the field. I have a wonderful relationship with my grandparents as well, as we spend time together on a regular basis. I am so fortunate.
